Design Licenses and Manufacturing Packages

Design licenses and manufacturing packages are reference designs for working and tested hardware/software systems provided under non-exclusive, licensed technology agreements. Design licenses typically include one or more of the following: schematics, Bill of Materials (BOM), logic firmware (e.g. Verilog source), driver source (e.g. Linux or WinXP), intermediate software source (e.g. library, shared object, DLL), and application layer source (e.g. GUI, test programs, utilities). Manufacturing packages additionally include PCB Gerber files, CAD files, assembly files, procurement database, and other information necessary to manufacture the product.

Schematics are provided in OrCAD format, layout files are based on Allegro tools.

Design licenses typically involve a one-time charge, with no royalties or other recurring IP fees. Maintenance and support contracts are optional. Cost of license and packages may optionally be negotiated by first purchasing a minimum number of units.

In all cases, reference hardware is available for development and testing purposes. Below are currently available design licenses and manufacturing packages.
