Overview

Signalogic offers low power consumption HPC in form-factors including 1U servers, ATCA, mini-ITX, and smart phones containing OMAP processors, with total power consumption ranging from a few Watts to 400 W.

x86 based form-factors include an OpenMP accelerator incorporating a CIM array, and smart phones must be based on an OMAP 3, 4, or 5 series device. From a programming perspective, all cores -- both x86 and CIM -- appear uniform, with source code level control over thread concurrency and core allocation.

Applications

Applications for low power HPC tend to be in one of two categories (i) battery or generator powered applications (examples include robot vision an UAV onboard video analytics), or (ii) rack-mounted server situations where data privacy is paramount but energy and space are constrained. Below is a partial list of applications areas.
