General
Dec 2008. Signalogic signs contract with Tier 2 telecom voice services provider to supply DSP-based line/media
boards. Signalogic has signed an agreement with a Tier 2 telecom solutions provider, including integration and
development, production boards, and annual support. This provider's customers include AT&T, Alltel, Telefonica, Tata,
and more.
Nov 2008. Signalogic announces a drop-in replacement solution for the Emerson WTRB500. Signalogic has developed a
drop-in replacement for the WTRB500 board, which was EOL'd by Emerson (formerly Motorola Computer Group) in 2008. The
combination of HW400c/2 cPCI carrier, SigC641x PTMC module, and wan256T3 PTMC module accepts T3 line I/O and provides
higher per-channel processing capacity and memory.
Oct 2008. Signalogic creates real-time voice processing framework to support Adaptive Digital DSP alogrithms.
Signalogic has created a flexible, fast, XDAIS-compliant framework for its C64x DSP hardware that is fully compatible
with Adaptive Digital algorithms. The framework runs on SigC64xx hardware, incorporates DSP/BIOS interrupt and task
handling, and supports both TDM and IP connectivity. The development environment for the framework includes a C64xx
board support package and example CCS projects that provide optional CSL and DSP/BIOS support.
Jun 2008. Signalogic commits to integrating the SigC5561 high-density VoIP card with OpenSER and rtpproxy.
Signalogic started an internal R&D project to fully integrate the SigC5561 high-density VoIP card with OpenSER and
rtpproxy, including reference server platforms, "out of the box" installation examples, and benchmarks comparing TI
DSP farm acceleration to x86-only, stacked server systems.
