Paid Engineering Internships Available

Starting in August, Signalogic is offering several paid internship positions and , open to CS, EE, and CSE, and Physics undergraduate and graduate students at Dallas metroplex-area universities.

  • Work side-by-side with experienced engineers, participate in commercial development, and learn in the listed below.
  • Full-time, min 35 hrs per week.
  • Eval point at 8 weeks to determine whether to transition to pay increase position.

    DSP Development

    • real-time C and asm. language coding
    • voice, video, and wireless algorithms
    • hands-on use of Texas Instruments Code Composer Studio tools, JTAG emulator tools
    • hands-on use of TI DSP based hardware, including these boards:
    •         SigC67xx PC104
              SigC641x PTMC
              SigC5561 PTMC

      Requirements:

    • strong math and algorithm background
    • C/C++ programming skills
    • basic software architecture knowledge
    • at least one DSP class preferred

    Hardware Development

    • schematic capture using OrCAD
    • understanding complex, high-speed signal layouts; hands-on use of Allegro Viewer
    • basic hardware debug
    • basic hardware rework; hands-on rework using lab tools
    • Requirements:

    • EE background including basic circuit design and digital logic
    • at least one EE class with a lab component
    • at least one microprocessor, DSP, or FPGA class preferred
