Spectrum Digital XDS510PP PLUS JTAG Scan Path Emulator Pod
Overview
The Specturm Digital XDS510PP PLUS is a portable scan path emulator capable of operating with the standard JTAG test interface on TI DSPs and Microcontrollers. This emulator is compatible with the TI Code Composer/Studio development environment and the XDS510 emulator. This portable emulator works off the parallel port on a PC or laptop which means no adapter card is required. It can operate with processors that have 3.3V or 5V present on the JTAG header. The XDS510PP is powered either by the target (+5V) or the supplied AC adapter. This emulator supports the Spectrum Digital Flash ROM programming utility. A Windows based configuration utility is available to aid in hardware setup.
The Spectrumm Digital XDS510PP PLUS is fully compatible with the Code Composer Studio development environment, DSP/BIOS, CSL (Chip Support Library) and C5xxx and C6xxx SCI software from Signalogic.

Note - As of 2021, Spectrum Digital has ceased operations permanently
This makes technical support limited. Signalogic will perform power-on and internal circuit board test-point voltage tests prior to shipment. An additional "JTAG scan test before shipment" option is available, which includes a JTAG scan check with a legacy TI DSK board, using the SDConfig utility. Signalogic offers no other technical support for JTAG emulators.
