SD4 Omnibus Module: 4-Channel 96 kHz 24-bit Sigma-Delta Analog I/O

The SD4 provides four channels each of 24-bit, 96 kHz sigma-delta D/A  This is state-of-the-art for audio and Sonar applications requiring accuracy and speed.  Each channel has extremely low noise allowing over 100db of S/N ratio four ultra-clean audio signal acquisition.  The sigma-delta filter mechanism also defeats high-frequency signals with a very effective digital filtr in the A/D, preventing errors from out-of-band signals.

The SD4 module has balanced (differential) input capability for maximum noise rejection at the front end.  It controls logic conveniently maps the A/D and D/A interface as a parallel interface, memory mapped register set easily accessed by the DSP.

The SD4 module plugs into the M62/67 PCI and cPCI base boards, with Texas Instruments C6701 166 MHz 32-bit floating-point DSP processor.
