A4D4 Omnibus Module: 200/100 kHz 4-Channel Analog I/O
Overview
The A4D4 module is intended for high-accuracy analog measurment and control systems requiring data acquisition speeds up to 200 kHz. The A4D4 provides analog I/O that
is tightly coupled with the DSP for control systems, process monitoring and data acquisition.
The four (4) analog inputs on the A4D4 modules are
AD976A SAR A/D
converters, which allow low data latency (delay) critical in control applications. Each A/D channel on the A4D4 module also has a
six-pole analog anti-alias filter and differential inputs for noise rejection. The four (4)
AD7846
SAR D/A channels on the A4D4 are commonly used as the control outputs for the A4D4. Each is calibrated for gain and offset errors. These may be used as control signals
for many types of actuators, transducer and other electronic devices.
The A4D4 module plugs into the
M62/67 PCI and cPCI base boards, with Texas Instruments C6701 166 MHz 32-bit floating-point DSP processor.
